This Friday, March 5th is the registration deadline for the April 10th ACT. Sophomores and juniors who signed up for Donnelly College Dual Credit courses for next year need to take the ACT. There are registration packets in the Counseling Office or you can register online at www.ACTstudent.org. If you have questions, see Mr. Goodin or Ms. Silverforb.
Congratulations to Megan Rehm, Kacey Peterson, and Jessica Vervaecke. Their elevated bridge physics project placed 5th out of 20 schools at the Regional Science Olympiad competition last weekend. Well done! Everyone is invited to try your hand next year and bring home your own medals!
Girls Green choir report to the auditorium during seminar today. This is our dress rehearsal for tomorrow's concert. Everyone needs to be there.
There will be a NHS meeting during Advisory period on Thursday in the auditorium. This is an important meeting for all members, so please be on time.
Attention ALL Seniors! This is the last day to turn in your five pictures of your choice for the senior class video. You need to speak with Mrs. Potts immediately if you still plan to turn them in. Also, Mrs. Potts has pictures of a little boy that someone put under her office door without any name on them. Please contact her so the pictures can be identified.
A representative from Kansas City, Kansas Community College will be here on March 9th during Advisory. Please sign up in the counseling office if you are interested .
Alec Smith won 1st place, Individual exhibit, Region 3 in National History Day competition, Saturday, Febraury 27, 2010 at Washburn University. His exhibit was entitled: Avaitation Origins: Wright Brothers and Beyond. Alec advances to state NHD competition, April 17. Congratulations Alec.
Attention International Club members- we have a meeting today by teams during advisory. The posters outside Mrs. Shields' room note what team you are on and where to report today. We also will meet next Tuesday for our fiesta!
