Hello Basehor-Linwood High School!

My name is Dave Hickerson and I am the Interim Principal for the 2022-23 school year. I am honored and very excited to be a part of the Bobcat Way. We are going to have a great school year in the classroom, on the stage, on the athletic field, and in our community. I’m very impressed with the opportunities afforded to our students and the commitment our staff has made to the success of the BLHS students. I look forward to carrying on the many great traditions at BLHS.

On a personal note, I retired in the summer of 2021 after 36 years in education. I spent the second semester in 2022 in two interim administrative roles. My wife Geri is a retired high school counselor. We have seven grandkids and we love spending time with family and friends, traveling, and walking our dog Indi.  

It’s a great time to be a Basehor-Linwood Bobcat!
