BOBCAT Strength & Conditioning
Our Mission
The Basehor-Linwood Strength and Conditioning program is a program founded for the purpose of developing life-long health and wellness goals while also being a key element to the success of the Bobcat athletic department.
Two key aspects of the program:
Students who want to better themselves by making a commitment to lifetime fitness
Students who want to make a commitment to athletic performance to represent the BOBCATS
The program is offered in three ways:
BEFORE SCHOOL SESSION--Offered Monday-Thursday, 6:30 a.m. (designed for in-season athletes)
CLASS ENROLLMENT--Levels I, II, III courses are offered with over 250 students currently enrolled
AFTER SCHOOL SESSION--Offered Monday-Thursday, 3:00 p.m
Each sport season has a specific after-school program that is geared for those who are not currently in a sport so they can prepare for their upcoming season.
WHAT WE BELIEVE!
We believe that all students and people should be trained to be an athlete. This belief and focus allows all students to be taught all facets of strength and conditioning. This will increase all forms of performance while also creating a more educated student who will be prepared to maintain lifetime health upon graduating.
We take pride in expert instruction for all levels of learners.
"Those who make the decision to become involved in this program will be making a commitment to themselves and to this school. We expect all students to learn and train with great intensity. our success and/or failure is a direct result of the efforts and sacrifices we put into our training and preparation. A season's success can be predicted in the preseason by what has been done to prepare."--Coach Ross Schwisow
THE FIRST 90% IS WORKING OUT--THE LAST 10% IS TRAINING
