Seniors--remember to pay your $5 to the office by TOMORROW if you want to paint your a paw.

If you did not get an agenda at the beginning of the school year, please pick one up at the front office.  

Avila University is holding it's 28th Annual Science and Mathematics Challenge for Young Women.  We would like to put together a team of 8 young women to participate in this unique event.  Freshmen through seniors, any girls interested in science or math are welcome.  Please see Mr. Diehl in room 142 if you are interested.

REbeL will have its next meeting tomorrow morning at 7:15 in room 105. Anyone is welcome to attend. REbeL promotes positive body image and self esteem by empowering and encouraging students at BLHS. If you would like more information about REbeL, see Mrs. Schaffer or Mrs. Bowser.

The Science Olympiad is a fun way to get some real hands-on experience and learning in all fields of science.  We will be having a meeting today in Room 142 during Bobcat hour.  See Mr. Burton or Mr. Diehl for more information.

Avila University is holding it's 28th Annual Science and Mathematics Challenge for Young Women.  We would like to put together a team of 8 young women to participate in this unique event.  Freshmen through seniors, any girls interested in science or math are welcome.  Please see Mr. Diehl in room 142 if you are interested.

Congratulations to the 2018 Homecoming Court:  
Senior King Candidates: Kyle Alcanter, Joe Phillips, Blake Tucker and Jake Ulreich
Senior Queen Candidates:  Delaney Farris, Gracie Kendrick,  Lindsey Price and Hannah Stapleton
Junior prince & princess:  Chase Torkelson and Paige Fox
Sophomore prince & princess:  Anthony Onstott and Jenna Zydlo
Freshman prince & princess:  Bricen Thomas and Abbey Shirley
The kind and queen will be crowned during halftime of the football game on Sept. 28th.

If you have not picked up your activity passes, please do so as soon as possible.  You must have your pass in your possession in order to be admitted free to our athletic events.  There will not be list at the gate.  

There will be a sophomore homecoming float meeting today at 11:15 in Mrs. VanHecke's Room #109. Any sophomore wanting to help plan and build the class float this year is welcome to attend.

The Internship Student meeting will be held in Mr. Ziegler's room #421, during the first half of advisory today.  Interns please report directly to the internship meeting at the start of advisory.  Thank you!

Tonight in the CTE classrooms is the South Leavenworth County voter forum.  Come talk to the candidates for congress and state house in our local area at 6:00.  If you have questions for our potential office holders tonight is the chance to ask them.
